Position Overview:

We seek a Labourer to join our team. Labourers perform various tasks in assisting site crew in all stages of construction, and are responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work site, transporting materials, operating basic tools and equipment, and supporting trades. The ideal candidate should be hardworking, reliable, and able to follow instructions efficiently while adhering to safety standards. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth and timely completion of construction projects.

Location: Sunshine Coast, B.C.

Key Responsibilities:

• Using a variety of tools and equipment safely and effectively as trained and directed.

• Complete all assigned work safely and effectively.

• Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working order.

• Transport materials and receive deliveries.

• Organizing site materials and tools.

• Ensure work sites are clean and organized at all times.

• Assist site leads, crew, and trades as directed.
  

Qualifications:

• Highschool Diploma preferred.

• Post-secondary trades education an asset but not required.

• Experience in construction and using power tools is preferred.

• Proven ability to work well as part of a team and independently.

• Reliable transportation to work site throughout the Sunshine Coast.

• Effective communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively, take direction, multi-task, and adapt to different work sites.

• Ability to lift 30-60lbs, as required.
