This gorgeous craftsman inspired project sits high above the beach of the Sunshine Coast’s Halfmoon Bay. The sun sets to the west, across the bay towards Thormanby Island, making an evening in this home unforgettable. From the outset, our team was first tasked with obtaining a development variance permit to carefully maintain a valuable waterfront building footprint. Once all the necessary permits were in place, construction began on the warm west coast architectural design by Kathy Henry of a coveted multi-generational family home. The interior design by Jo-Anne Conway creates a coastal material palette fit for this family’s oceanside lifestyle. The angular timber accents give this reconstruction the perfect warm tones on a summer’s eve. Sitting poolside with a drink in hand, looking back at the house, you can’t help but think how wonderful life is.
